The Cock Public House

The Cock is reputed to be about 350 years old and is the village's last remaining public house.

In 2009 it was taken over by Mel Pimblett who has lived in Henham all her life. A short time later she managed to secure the freehold on the premises and within a year she had turned around a business that had reached an all time low into a very successful and vibrant 'local.'

Mel, has succeeded in achieving a great balance between very good quality food at very reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere for those who want a drink, chat or just read the paper.
